The Vancouver Gay Volleyball Association
VGVA is a provincially registered non-profit society and one of the longest operating volunteer organized sports groups in the Lower Mainland. The VGVA promotes a gay-positive and inclusive environment that focuses on volleyball play, fitness and—most of all—lots of FUN!
Registration for this season will happen in two phases: registration and then payment.
Teams can register for their preferred location (Tuesday at Creekside or Wednesday at David Lam) starting April 14, 2025 at 7:00 PM PDT via the VGVA website. The person who registers will be considered the team captain and must provide their name, email, and phone number.
Registration closes on April 15 at 7:00 PM PDT. After that, the VGVA admin team will process entries and accept the first 22 teams for David Lam and first 6 teams for Creekside based on the time of registration.
Payment links will be sent to selected team captains on April 21 around 7:00 PM PDT. Captains will have 24 hours to complete payment. If payment isn’t received in time, the spot will be offered to the next team on the list. This process will continue until the league is full.
VGVA is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization. As such, our members play a crucial role in shaping and running our organization. We are preparing for the next Annual General Meeting in early May, and want your input on a few topics.
