Registration Deadlines and Fees
Early Bird Registration
A Team fee of $480.00 Canadian dollars (approximately $475.00 USD) for a 6–8 member team, $65.00 CDN (approximately $62.00 USD) for each additional player.
Note:Early Bird fees only apply if the team representative submits fees online or mail the cheque postmarked by March 11th.
Regular Registration
After March 11th, the Team fee increases to $560.00 Canadian dollars (approximately $550.00 USD) for a 6–8 member team, $80.00 CDN (approximately $75.00 USD) for each additional player. Final deadline to receive all fees (online or postmarked cheque): March 18th
Registration for Queen Vicki 2012 is capped at 35 teams. FULL payment is required for registration confirmation.
Registration Process
There are 2 steps to the registration process.

- Payment of Queen Vicki Tournament Fees (ONLINE or Cheque) -see below
Team Roster Registration
To register your team for Vancouver Queen Vicki 2012, team reps are first required to register on the NAGVA website. Team Reps who have previously registered for a NAGVA tournament this season, please visit the NAGVA site, login, and create your roster.
If this is your first tournament for the season, visit the NAGVA website to register your team; login, pay applicable NAGVA Team fee for the 2012 season ($40 USD Online) and then create a roster for Vancouver Queen Vicki 2012.
If you are new to NAGVA, please visit the NAGVA site to sign up as a new member, pay applicable NAGVA Fees, and register your Team for Vancouver Queen Vicki 2012.
Tournament Fees – Payment Options
Payment of Queen Vicki Tournament Fees can be made Online (Visa/MasterCard only – processed in Canadian Funds) or by Mail (Certified/Cashier’s Cheque, Bank Draft or Money Order – NO PERSONAL CHEQUES ACCEPTED).
- MAIL – All certified cheques/bank drafts should be made in CANADIAN FUNDS ONLY; payable to VGVA and mailed to: Box 106, 1027 Davie Street, Vancouver, BC, CANADA, V6E 4L2
- ONLINE – Click on the appropriate team member option below to pay your Queen Vicki fees online. ONLY ONE team representative should pay for the entire team.
If you request a refund; you must do so by March 18th – All refunds are subject to a 20% Administrative Fee.
Registration Confirmation
Once the Queen Vicki 2012 tournament fee has been received by VGVA, the team representative will be e-mailed confirmation of the team’s registration into the tournament as well as further tournament details.
NAGVA Individual Membership Fees
Each season, NAGVA Membership fees are due. The NAGVA season runs from June 1 to May 31. All NAGVA Membership fees ($35) should be paid online a minimum of 10 days prior to our tournament. Please remind your teammates to pay their NAGVA fees before the tournament. Visit www.nagva.org for payment details.
You can pay the Individual NAGVA Membership fee at the tournament but the rate is $45 (USD) and will cause delays for your team at the registration night.
If you are a new NAGVA member, fill out the NAGVA Registration form and pay Individual Member fees ($35 Online).
Officiating and Scorekeepers Clinics
Officiating and Scorekeepers Clinics will NOT be offered at the tournament. Teams are still required to provide a NAGVA Certified First Referee and Certified Scorekeeper for all officiating duties at a NAGVA sanctioned tournament or face penalties.
Players can now complete the certification process (First Referee and Scorekeeper) ONLINE before attending the tournament. Players will be viewed at the tournament for the practical evaluation.
Players should complete the Online certification at least 10 days before the tournament. Contact Jonathan Daclison, NAGVA VP of Officials to set up your online certification exam.

Saturday March 24th
Late Queen Vicki/NAGVA Registration & Pool Play – Richmond Olympic Oval (6111 River Road, Richmond—see map below)
- Facility opens @ 8:00 am
- Captains’ Meeting 8:20 am
- Pool Play starts 8:45 am sharp to approx. 6:00 pm
- Queen Vicki Seeding Party 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM — Location TBA
Sunday March 25th
Double-Elimination Play-offs – Richmond Olympic Oval
- Facility opens 8:00 am
- Captains’ Meeting 8:15 am
- Play starts 8:30 am till approx. 5:00 pm
- Awards Ceremony at the gym immediately after the conclusion of play
Tournament Details
- All teams are guaranteed 4 pool play matches & 2 playoff matches (Double-Elimination)
- Standard NAGVA Pool/ Play-off brackets and Seeding procedures will be utilized
- All Teams (Mod AA, BB & B) will be required to referee matches during Pool Play & Playoffs
- Tournament play for Queen Vicki will follow FIVB rules except where NAGVA rules supersede them
- Teams registered in Queen Vicki must supply a Certified NAGVA Referee and Scorekeeper to officiate all matches
- Tournament Director(s) reserve the right to change match schedules to facilitate the tournament without significant notice
- Team Pool Assignment is conducted entirely by RANDOM DRAW
