Providing educational instruction and volleyball play in a comfortable and fun gay positive environment to any person regardless of their gender or sexual orientation.
Lloyd was a great friend to many people throughout his short life. Everyone who knew him will always remember his beautiful smile. In fact, whenever I think of Lloyd I always picture him with a smile on his face. Even his eyes smiled and it was hard not to smile when he was around. I will miss that.
Lloyd was a great athlete and loved his bowling and volleyball. I first met Lloyd a few years ago during the summer at grass volleyball wearing his camoflouge shorts and was immediately impressed with his ball control. I found out later that he was a fantastic bowler and had bowled many perfect games. I wish I had gone bowling with Lloyd. I am sure it would have been a lot of fun.
Lloyd was always happiest when he was going to see Joe, when he was with Joe and when he talked about what he and Joe had done or where they had gone at the weekend. Lloyd and Joe seemed to be the perfect couple. They complemented each other and it was obvious to all who saw them that they were very much in love.
Lloyd was a perfect gentleman, had a huge heart and was also very good looking.
I am so honoured to have had Lloyd in my life. During his final few weeks on this earth, I saw him a few times but I wish I had spent more time with him. Lloyd was always positive in his outlook and he fought a courageous battle.
I have learnt a lot from Lloyd both from his life and his illness and even later after his passing. Live life to its fullest, love and cherish your friends and family and tell them how much you love them. Thank you Lloyd for being you. Thank you for teaching me to be more positive and thank you for gracing this world with your smile.
Love
