Providing educational instruction and volleyball play in a comfortable and fun gay positive environment to any person regardless of their gender or sexual orientation.
This division is designed for people who have never picked up a volleyball before, or for those volleyball enthusiasts who are not interested in competitive play.
Being a fun and social division, this group has been known to continue partying after play is finished.
First day of play will be Friday September 11, 2009. Recreational meets every Friday from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the King George High School Gymnasium at 1755 Barclay Street (beside the West End Community Centre at Denman Street). The entrance of the gym is on Denman Street, just north of Barclay Street.
Play is cancelled on the following days: December 25, January 1 (2010), February 12, March 12, April 2.
Drop-ins are welcome, but play is not guaranteed. The drop-in fee is $5. Sorry, there are no changing or shower facilities available.
